Great question. The fact that you are asking means you are already on the way. Every home is different and I always recommend having an initial walk through to get you the most benefit in the least amount of time; here are a few things I almost always recommend to my clients. Use a high quality air filter. Costco sells a nice filter for much cheaper than your big box stores. Have your AC serviced regularly, this will lower the amount of contaminants it is putting in the air. Install solid state LED bulbs, reducing eye strain and lowering retina stress. Use healthy cleaning supplies, no bleach or heavy duty cleaners. These remove the bad bacteria but also kill the good bacteria that helps keep your homes eco system in check.
